Their capabilities include repair and refurbishment of low frequency AC and DC power supplies, amplifiers, rectifiers, inverters, frequency changers, and converters up to 50 KVA, including 50Hz, 60Hz, and 400Hz equipment.Role Description The Recruitment Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hornsby, NSW. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing candidates, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and supporting hiring decisions for technical and non-technical positions. The Recruitment Officer will develop and update job descriptions, post vacancies on relevant platforms, and maintain accurate recruitment records. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with hiring managers to understand role requirements, conducting structured interviews, managing candidate communication, and ensuring a positive and equitable hiring experience. The role also involves assisting with onboarding processes, contributing to workforce planning, and supporting continuous improvement of recruitment practices.Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build professional relationships and communicate clearly with candidates and internal stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in recruiting and hiring, including managing end-to-end recruitment processes and partnering with hiring managers.Ability to develop, review, and refine job descriptions that accurately reflect role requirements and align with organizational needs.Experience conducting structured interviewing, assessing candidate suitability, and maintaining fair, consistent selection practices.Knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and ethical hiring standards.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vacancies and deadlines.Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and common office software tools.Relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience recruiting for technical or engineering environments is highly regarded.
