Job Description

About the role

We are seeking an Animal Attendant to support the Greyhound Adoption Program (GAP) team in the day-to-day care, rehabilitation and promotion of greyhounds.

Working closely with the GAP team, you will assist with walking and exercising greyhounds, monitoring their wellbeing, maintaining accurate records, supporting foster and adoption activities, and attending community events to showcase greyhounds looking for their forever homes.

Qualifications

About you

• Understanding of greyhounds and knowledge of the racing industry is desirable
• Understanding of greyhounds
• Experience in a kennel environment 
• Knowledge and understanding of greyhound racing industry beneficial to assist organisational requirements 
• Ability to develop, maintain and update social media
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in the execution of work 
• Well-developed computer literacy skills within the Microsoft Office/Windows Environment 
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outcomes on time 
• Developed computer literacy skills within the Microsoft Office/Windows environment
