Civil Designer – Subdivision Experience

Development Objective Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced Civil Designer to join our growing team.

We are seeking someone with solid civil design and subdivision experience who can confidently take projects from concept through to detailed design and documentation.

This is a hands-on role suited to a Civil Designer who enjoys working across a variety of civil and land development projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Civil design and documentation for residential and land subdivision projects in South East Queensland

• Preparation of detailed civil engineering plans and drawings

• Road, stormwater, drainage and earthworks design

• Bulk earthworks and grading plans

• Sewer and water infrastructure design

• Preparing plans for development applications and construction

• Liaising with engineers, surveyors, councils, authorities and other consultants

• Reviewing and interpreting survey information

• Assisting with project planning, coordination and delivery

• Ensuring designs comply with relevant Australian Standards, Council requirements and engineering specifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in civil design, particularly subdivision

• Experience with residential land development and subdivision projects

• Strong knowledge of civil design principles and Australian standards

• Experience with civil design software such as 12d Model, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Drains, PC Drain, Music and Hecras.

• Ability to read and interpret survey plans and engineering documentation

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and organisational skills

• A practical understanding of the development and construction process

• Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering, Civil Design or a related discipline
