Food Services Assistant

We are currently seeking an efficient and professional Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Kellyville home. 

Permanent part time opportunity available! 

• Shift schedule: Week 1: 14:30PM to 19:30PM Monday, Tuesday Wednesday Week 2: 14:30PM to 19:30PM Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday 06:30AM to 14:30PM
• Shift Schedule: Week 1: Monday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM, Friday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM, Saturday - 2:30PM to 7:30PM & Week 2: Monday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM, Tuesday - 2:30PM to 7:30PM, Wednesday - 6:30AM to 2:30PM
• Shift Schedule: Week 1 & 2: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 06:30AM to 14:30pm

You will work with motivated and diverse people in modern facilities where you will be enabled to develop your skills. You will work with a great team of dedicated people and your contribution will make a difference to our residents’ enjoyment of their life every day. Key Duties: 

• Plating food at mealtimes 
• Preparing food under the direction of Chef    
• Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift 
• Restocking supplies and receive goods    
• Recording temperatures, complete checklists  
• Maintaining personal hygiene standards   
• Working as a member of the Food Services teams

Skills/Requirements:

• Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits   
• Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment 
• A person who takes pride in what they do  
• Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable  
• Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
• Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster
