Onboarding Specialist - Logistics

Multigroup Logistics is a Melbourne-based 4PL freight management business delivering end-to-end logistics solutions to customers across Australia and New Zealand.

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Onboarding Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, coordinating freight movements and contributing to a team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You’ll be part of a fun, energetic, and highly efficient team, acting as a key point of contact for our customers and representing the Multigroup Logistics brand in every interaction.

This is a hybrid role split between customer onboarding and data administration. You'll be the first point of contact for new customers as they come on board, guiding them through account setup, systems and processes. Alongside this, you'll maintain and clean up customer and company master data in our systems (including MachShip), making sure account hierarchies, parent/child company relationships and account codes are accurate and up to date.

Customer Onboarding

• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new customers, from initial setup through to go-live.

• Set up new customer accounts accurately across relevant systems, ensuring all details are captured correctly the first time.

•  Act as the main point of contact for new customers during onboarding, answering questions and troubleshooting issues.

• Coordinate with sales, operations and IT teams to ensure a smooth handover and setup for each new account.

• Prepare onboarding documentation, welcome packs and process guides for new customers.

• Track onboarding progress and follow up on outstanding requirements to keep implementations on schedule.

Data Management & Administration

• Maintain accurate customer and company data within MachShip and related systems.

• Assign and verify account codes and resolve or correct data discrepancies.

• Map and maintain parent/child company relationships and ultimate parent structures across the group.

• Support reporting accuracy by ensuring account hierarchies and data structures are kept current.

• Assist with ad hoc data administration tasks and system clean-up projects as required.
