Bottleshop Manager – Bottlemart North Shore Tavern

About the role

Bottlemart North Shore Tavern has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic Bottleshop Manager to lead our liquor retail team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong liquor retail experience who is passionate about customer service, team leadership and driving store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the bottleshop team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the bottleshop, ensuring the store is clean, well presented and operating efficiently.

• Maintain excellent product knowledge and ensure stock is appropriately merchandised and presented.

• Manage stock control, ordering, receiving deliveries, stock rotation and inventory accuracy.

• Implement and maximise the Bottlemart promotional program and ensure promotions are executed effectively.

• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve store results.

• Ensure all Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements and liquor licensing obligations are strictly followed.

• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling and daily operational requirements.

• Train, support and develop team members to maintain high standards of service and compliance.

• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and effectively.

About you

• Previous experience in a liquor retail management or supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of the liquor industry, products and retail operations.

• Experience with I-Control will be highly regarded.

• Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.

• A friendly, approachable and professional personality.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Commercial awareness with a focus on achieving sales and business targets.

• Ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Hold a current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
