Field Service Truck Operator (Grease & Lube)

Who We Are:

With a 30-year history of successful operations, BMI Resource Recovery provides recycling, waste transfer and landfill activities focused on large scale recovery of resources from building and construction activities. 

We are recruiting an experienced Field Service Truck Operator to carry out grease/lube and associated duties on our afternoon shift Monday to Friday.

As a Field Service Truck Operator, you will be responsible for minor repairs and inspections of plant and equipment on multiple company sites and in the workshop. 

Your Key Responsibilities will Include:

• Servicing civil and mining earth moving equipment including D11 and 90t excavators to rollers and compactors. 

• Plant inspections.

• Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness while working on site and preserving the environment you are working in.

• Reviewing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and utilising spill kits.

Your Duties will Include:

• Conduct refueling operations.

• Oil replenishment.

• Greasing & general lubrication.

• Air filter maintenance.

• Assist Fitters where required.

• General workshop duties.

• General housekeeping around site.

What You will Need to Succeed:

• HR License (Automatic).

• 1 - 5 years prior experience working as a Service Truck Operator in heavy-earthmoving / mining / quarrying / landfill operations.

• Ability to operate a service truck completing in field refuel and service activities.

• A commitment to a positive safety culture.

Highly Regarded:

• Diesel fitting trade.
