Are you friendly, reliable, and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment? At Spudshed, we’re looking for motivated team members who are eager to learn, provide great customer service, and be part of a supportive team.

This role includes hands on training to help you build your skills and confidence in a busy checkout environment. You’ll play an important part in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers, while developing valuable retail experience.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Serving customers at the checkout in a friendly and efficient manner

• Handling cash and card transactions accurately

• Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area

• Assisting customers with questions or directing them to the right team member

• Restocking items near the checkout area when required

• Following store policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines

• Working as part of a team to keep the store running smoothly during busy periods

Skills & Experience

• Previous supermarket retail experience is an advantage, but not essential

• Strong customer service skills and a friendly attitude

• Willingness to learn and take direction

• Good communication skills

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Team player with a positive approach
