Charlie’s Fine Food Co is an Australian food manufacturer known for producing high-quality biscuits, cookies and sweet treats. Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced food production team members to join our busy manufacturing team.

We currently have opportunities for an experienced:

• Mixer/Depositor

• Oven Operator

• Packing Team Leader

You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, operating mixing and depositing equipment, and ensuring products are made accurately and consistently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Weighing and preparing ingredients in accordance with recipes and production requirements

• Operating industrial mixers and depositing equipment

• Monitoring product quality, consistency and portion sizes

• Completing production and traceability records accurately

• Following allergen, food safety and cleaning procedures

• Supporting changeovers and general production requirements

You will manage the baking process and help ensure our products are baked safely, consistently and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring commercial ovens

• Adjusting temperatures, speeds and baking times where required

• Checking product colour, texture and overall quality

• Coordinating with mixing, depositing and packing teams

• Completing oven, quality and production checks

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

You will lead the packing team during production, ensuring products are packed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating daily packing activities and allocating work across the team

• Providing clear direction, support and on-the-job training

• Monitoring productivity, quality, waste and downtime

• Ensuring products are packed, labelled and coded correctly

• Supporting production changeovers and resolving day-to-day issues

• Promoting strong food safety, hygiene and workplace safety practices

• Completing production records and escalating concerns when required

We are looking for reliable and experienced people who:

• Have previous experience in food manufacturing, commercial baking or a similar production environment

• Understand food safety, hygiene, allergen and quality requirements

• Can confidently operate production equipment relevant to their role

• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing quality products

• Communicate well and contribute positively to the team

• Are reliable, punctual and committed to safe working practices

For the Packing Team Leader position, previous experience supervising or leading a production or packing team is essential.
