This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support the Payroll Manager, strengthen team capability, improve payroll processes and ensure our people have a seamless payroll experience.

Your Lovisa Opportunity

Support the Payroll Manager with the operational leadership of the Payroll team across APACAssist with overseeing the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processingReview payroll outputs, exceptions, reconciliations and key controls before finalisationCoach and develop the Payroll team, building capability and sharing knowledgeProvide trusted payroll advice to managers and team membersOwn the employee payroll experience, ensuring enquiries are resolved accurately and within agreed timeframesCreate and maintain payroll FAQs, guides and employee resourcesPrepare payroll reports for Operations and key stakeholdersSupport month-end activities including leave provisions, reconciliations, reporting and payroll journalsContribute to payroll system upgrades, testing, configuration and implementation projectsUse payroll data and reporting to identify trends, errors and opportunities for improvementDrive a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

About You – What You'll Bring

3–5+ years’ relevant payroll experienceStrong, up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirementsIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsStrong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Dayforce Payroll highly desirableExperience with Time & Attendance systems, ideally UKGRetail payroll experience highly desirableStrong understanding of payroll systems and best-practice processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA strong focus on accuracy, compliance and disciplined payroll executionA commercial mindset with a focus on continuous improvementA collaborative leadership style and genuine desire to support and develop othersAbility to identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and the employee experience
