$70,000–$75,000 plus super | Warm inbound enquiries | Full training provided

Coast Smoke Alarms is looking for a warm, confident and highly organised person to join our supportive team. This is a full-time, office-based position in Maroochydore.

You will respond to incoming enquiries from homeowners, property managers and other business clients. You’ll explain Queensland smoke alarm requirements and our services, prepare quotes, follow up leads and convert genuine enquiries into bookings.

This role combines inbound sales with hands-on administration. You will help customers understand their smoke alarm requirements, explain our services and points of difference, prepare quotes, answer questions, follow up enquiries and confidently guide customers towards booking.

You will also complete a range of general administration tasks, maintain accurate records and detailed notes, and follow our documented processes. We are looking for someone who is equally comfortable speaking with customers and completing detailed administrative work accurately.

Initially, you will receive hands-on training and support from our experienced Account Director, together with ongoing support from the wider Coast Smoke Alarms team.

Your responsibilities

• Respond to incoming phone and email enquiries

• Explain smoke alarm requirements and our services clearly

• Identify customer needs and recommend the appropriate service

• Prepare accurate quotes and explain our points of difference

• Handle customer questions and objections professionally

• Follow up warm leads and convert enquiries into bookings

• Build relationships with residential and business customers

• Maintain accurate CRM records and detailed notes

• Complete general administration tasks using established processes

• Update customer and property records accurately

• Manage data entry, documentation and customer communications

• Balance sales follow-up with competing administrative priorities

• Follow all enquiries and tasks through to completion

About you

• Pride in accurate administrative work and an understanding that making the sale is only one part of the role

Experience in administration, customer service or a similar role is preferred. Property management, sales and/or smoke alarm industry experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
