Cluster Manager

Our NSW region is entering an exciting phase of expansion, and we have created a new Retail Cluster Manager role to support the region's growth. We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee a group of stores within the NSW region, supporting Store Managers to achieve KPIs, build high-performing teams and uphold KOOKAÏ’s service culture. This is a genuine opportunity to shape talent, drive commercial results and grow your career, with a direct line to the State Manager and Head of Retail.
This role is responsible for providing effective and supportive leadership, inspiring your team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business performance. You will ensure all aspects of staffing, operations, service standards and visual presentation are maintained in line with company expectations.

What you'll be doing:Building and developing high-performing teams with a focus on succession planning and management developmentDeveloping and maintaining a harmonious, motivating work environment to maximise employee engagement and commitmentTraining, coaching and mentoring Store and Assistant Managers using KOOKAÏ’s in-house training programs and workshopsSupporting recruitment across the region, ensuring an exceptional candidate experienceGuiding, supporting and conducting performance discussions in line with company policies and proceduresCoordinating stock management and product cycle counts to ensure operational accuracyEnsuring store operational requirements are effectively completed and maintainedUpholding KOOKAÏ’s high standards of store presentation and visual merchandisingAnalysing sales trends, identifying areas of opportunity and implementing action plans to drive resultsAchieving profit contribution, sales and KPI targets within the region
What we'd love from you:4+ years’ proven experience as a Cluster or Area Manager within fashion retail overseeing a minimum of 4 storesA people-first approach, with effective leadership and motivational skillsProven success in achieving sales, profit and KPI resultsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPragmatic, hands-on approach with strong organisational and time management skillsFinancial acumen, including the ability to interpret P&L statements and sales reportsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and work with a sense of urgencyProblem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environmentA valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicleA willingness to travel
