About the role
About us
Alba Edible Oils Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of high-quality edible oils, servicing customers both domestically and internationally. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible products and services. Our state-of-the-art refinery in Hamilton Hill, Western Australia, is a key part of our operations, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our dedicated team.
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hands-on full-time Packer / Warehouse Operator to join our team. This role is suited to someone with strong experience in warehousing, packing, dispatch preparation, and stock control who takes pride in working safely, accurately, and efficiently in a busy production and warehouse environment.
The successful applicant will support the packing of edible oil and tallow products, assist with warehouse duties, and help ensure finished goods are prepared to a high standard for storage and dispatch. You will work closely with team members across rotating shifts to meet production, quality, safety, and dispatch targets.
Key Responsibilities
· Pack edible oil and tallow products accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards, production requirements, and customer expectations.
· Label, check, seal, and prepare finished goods for dispatch or storage, ensuring product details, quantities, and packaging are correct.
· Assist with general warehouse duties including stock movement, palletising, stock rotation, inventory checks, and safe storage of finished goods and packaging materials.
· Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area at all times, including packing lines, equipment, warehouse areas, and surrounding workspaces.
· Follow workplace health and safety procedures, hygiene practices, food safety standards, and quality requirements consistently.
· Work collaboratively with team members across different shifts to meet daily production, packing, warehouse, and dispatch targets.
· Report any product quality concerns, damaged stock, equipment issues, safety hazards, or delays to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
· Handle products and materials with care to minimise waste, prevent damage, and support efficient warehouse operations.
Skills and Experience
· Previous experience in warehousing, packing, production, dispatch, or stock control is required.
· Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a busy warehouse or production environment while maintaining attention to detail.
· Strong commitment to quality, safety, cleanliness, and following correct procedures.
· Flexible, reliable, and dependable, with the ability to work 8-hour shifts from Monday to Sunday as required.
· Availability to work rotating shifts, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
· Physically capable of performing hands-on packing and warehouse duties, including standing, lifting, moving stock, and working in a fast-paced environment.
· A current forklift licence is essential.
What We Offer
This is a full-time opportunity for a committed and hardworking team player who is ready to contribute to a growing edible oils business. You will be part of a hands-on team environment where safety, reliability, accuracy, and quality are valued.
The role offers variety across packing and warehouse duties, the opportunity to contribute to daily production and dispatch outcomes, and the chance to build on your existing warehouse, packing, and stock control experience.
How to Apply
If this sounds like you, and you have experience in warehousing, a strong work ethic, a current forklift licence, with the flexibility to work across rotating shifts, we would like to hear from you. Apply now by submitting your resume and a brief summary of your relevant experience for consideration.
