About the business

Access Mercantile Services is a National Based Debt Collection Agency that was established in 1990 offering a wide range of Collection & Recovery, Insourcing, Field and Digital Contact Services to all of Australia and New Zealand.

About the role

Reporting to the Resolution & Assist Lead - Operations, you will be primarily responsible for supporting Mercantile Agent Field Operations [Collections, Repossessions, Field Calls, Process Serving and Pre-Finance Requests] such as:

• Handle phone enquiries from clients, contractors and service staff

• Updating systems to reflect service & contractor activities

• Monitor reports and conduct follow up activities with service staff, contractors and clients

In addition, you will work alongside your peers to provide effective and efficient management of business Operational Work Orders that focus on Collection and Recovery Performance, Client Relationships, agent and/or Client Escalations and Enquiries.

Skills and experience

• Collections or Recoveries experience ideal, however not essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal

• Professional & Confident phone manner

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Ability to work to deadlines & under pressure

• Desire to go above & beyond to deliver exceptional customer service

• Proactive & self-sufficient nature
