Social Media and Sales Superstar

Do you love the smell of new books and like to shine on social media?

We’re looking for a social media and sales superstar to join our A Thousand Lives Book Haven team!

You’ll be working both in our brick and mortar, romance focused book store and as the main face of our social media, with responsibilities including sales, creating and positing social media content/marketing, and some graphic design for our events.

We’re looking for someone bright and energetic, who knows the ins and outs of different social media platforms and how to work their way around POS and other in store systems. A love of romance books (especially indie) is essential.

The ATL team is a small, close-knit group who operate more like friends than co-workers, so we’re on the hunt for our next book bestie to join the crew.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• creating social media content across multiple platforms
• in store sales, stock control, and packaging of online orders
• graphic design for events, new products, and our website
• back end social media including scheduling, engagement, and META ads

And will have experience in:

• managing a brand social media platform
• META business suite
• graphic design software (ideally Photoshop)
• retail sales and customer service

The position is part time, Thursdays and Fridays in our Woori Yallock store, with some weekends required. We're looking for a self starter who can work independently in store as needed, but who will fit in with our current team during collaboration days.
