About the role
Join the Royal Melbourne Hospital's Mental Health Services team as a Mental Health Clinician working across Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and the HOPE program.
You'll provide evidence-based, therapeutic assessment and support to people experiencing mental health and substance use concerns, including those following a suicide attempt or serious suicidal ideation. Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll provide coordinated care through outreach and clinic-based interventions for up to 12 weeks.
You'll be part of a small, supportive team working closely with consumers, families and carers to provide person-centred care following mental health crisis, with opportunities to work alongside established community mental health teams and the Substance Use and Mental Illness Treating Team (SUMITT).

This multidisciplinary opportunity is open to Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists who hold the relevant qualifications, registration and/or professional membership outlined in the Position Description. You will also bring:
