About Us

Allurity Hotel is part of the Vision Hotels portfolio, a growing accommodation group with properties across Australia and the Pacific. We're looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our Hobart property, someone who can drive operational excellence, build a strong team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience day in, day out.

The Role

As General Manager, you'll take full ownership of Allurity Hotel's Operations leading every department, managing performance against budget, and acting as the primary point of contact for guests & staff. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on responsibility and wants a genuine seat at the table in shaping how the property runs, with the opportunity to build a broader career across our expanding portfolio.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across all departments

• Drive operational performance to meet and exceed budgetary requirements

• Maintain strong working relationships with Head Of Operations, ensuring open lines of communication

• Manage staff performance, coordinate recruitment, induction, training and development, and provide regular feedback

• Handle and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring optimum guest satisfaction

• Ensure the Hotel remains compliant with all company guidelines and relevant state and local laws, including WH&S, licensing, fire regulations and essential services

• Oversee maintenance standards and provide input into any renovation or refurbishment projects

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in a General Manager or senior managerial role within the accommodation or hospitality sector

• Renovation and property upgrade experience highly regarded

• Experience using RMS highly regarded

• A good understanding of maintenance and renovation project oversight highly regarded

• Open to relocation within Australia and the Pacific

• Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust easily

• Confident managing and reporting on financial performance

• Passionate, motivated, and driven to succeed

Package

$130,000 total package — comprising:

• $100,000 base salary per annum

• Onsite accommodation valued at $25,000

• Up to $5,000 in KPI bonuses
