Montefiore has an outstanding and rare position for an accomplished Physiotherapist to join our dynamic and extensive team in the position of Physiotherapy Manager. You will join a supportive and high-performing Allied Health leadership team, where you'll have the opportunity to lead and develop a dynamic team, drive best-practice care, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents every day.

Reporting to the General Manager Allied Health Residential Services, you will oversee the delivery of Physiotherapy services across our multi-site organisation and provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team comprising Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Therapy Assistants and an Exercise Scientist.

Specifically, your remit will include the following key performance areas:

To be successful in this role you will have vast experience in the following areas: 

• Management and leadership capabilities  
• Supervision and mentoring
• Strategic Planning and project implementation
• Compliance, documentation and reporting 
• Training and development
• Stakeholder engagement  

In addition to the above, you will: 

• Hold a degree in Physiotherapy with current registration with AHPRA
• Have a minimum of 5 years senior physiotherapy leadership experience, ideally within residential aged care, rehabilitation or gerontology services
• Have knowledge and understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, Aged Care Act 2025, Clinical Governance Frameworks and associated regulatory requirements
• Have demonstrated expertise in reablement, restorative care, mobility optimisation, falls prevention, pain management and evidence-based physiotherapy for older people
• Have demonstrated understanding of person-directed care, supported decision making, dignity of risk and rights-based approaches to care and services
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills along with high emotional intelligence
• Willingness to travel across our sites as per operational requirements
