About Physiotherapy Department
The Austin Health Physiotherapy Department is positioned within the Allied Health Division of Austin Health. Renowned for its strong clinical reputation, the department is a leader in innovation, research and workforce development, with clinicians actively contributing to advances in physiotherapy practice and healthcare delivery.
Our physiotherapists are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care through evidence-based models of practice, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our diverse community. With strong links to research, education and interdisciplinary collaboration, Austin Health Physiotherapy offers an engaging and supportive environment for clinicians who are passionate about excellence, continuous improvement and shaping the future of healthcare.
About the role
As the Physiotherapy Manager, you will lead Austin Health's Physiotherapy Department, providing strategic, professional and operational leadership across a large and diverse workforce delivering services in acute, subacute, ambulatory and community settings. You will drive excellence in clinical practice, workforce development, research, quality improvement and service innovation, while fostering a high-performing culture built on collaboration, wellbeing and continuous improvement.

In this influential leadership role, you will inspire a workforce of over 100 clinicians, champion wellbeing and workforce sustainability, drive research and innovation, and lead the development of contemporary models of care across the patient journey. You will have passion for and experience in; service redesign, evidence translation and transformational leadership.
