Junior Production Manager – Southside Sign Service

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Production Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on workshop experience who’s looking to move off the tools and step into a production‑focused coordination and sales role. You’ll assist with scheduling, job management, fabrication oversight, quoting, and ensuring projects move smoothly from approval through to installation.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting day‑to‑day production planning and workflow

• Coordinating with fabricators, installers, and suppliers

• Preparing quotes and assisting with sales enquiries

• Liaising with customers to confirm job details, timelines, and approvals

• Checking job specs, materials, and quality standards

• Helping maintain timelines and cost‑effective outcomes

• Communicating with clients and internal teams

• Using CorelDRAW, SignLab, and Trello to manage artwork, production tasks, and workflow tracking

What we’re looking for:

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• A hands‑on, practical mindset

• Someone transitioning from a workshop or fabrication role and wanting to grow into production management

• Confidence in customer communication, quoting, and basic sales support

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced workshop environment

• Great communication and problem‑solving skills

• Experience with CorelDRAW, SignLab, and Trello (or similar software)

• Experience in signage, fabrication, or similar industries is a bonus
