About the Role

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a motivated and highly organised Production Planner to play a key role in managing the production, supply, and installation of our roller shutter products across NSW.

This role sits at the heart of our operations — coordinating between customers, factory teams, transport providers, and subcontract installers to ensure on‑time delivery, smooth installation, cost efficiency, and uncompromising safety standards.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Production Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring production and installation schedules run like clockwork. Your key responsibilities include:

• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer delivery and installation dates
• Keep sales teams and customers informed about lead times and any changes
• Maintain clear and accurate production schedules and planning systems
• Coordinate deliveries with transport providers to ensure timely, cost‑effective supply
• Confirm customer sites are ready before installers are scheduled
• Manage subcontract installers and ensure consistent workflow based on sales demand
• Manage builder and site access portals and compliance requirements
• Track and forecast invoicing to support monthly targets and budgets
• Prepare and report monthly Work in Progress (WIP) to the General Manager and Finance team
• Prepare required quality, safety and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
• Run toolbox talks and promote safe work practices at all times
• Support and follow OHS policies and procedures
• Maintain quality standards across manufacturing, delivery and installation
• Resolve issues with customers, suppliers and contractors as they arise
• Support customers, sales teams and factory staff as the main coordination contact

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar planning or coordination role
• Background in manufacturing and/or construction, ideally jobbing‑based manufacturing
• Experience working in a corporate environment
• Strong MS Office skills, with intermediate to advanced Excel
• Ability to read plans, documentation, and production detail sheets
