About the Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Operations Support professional to join our team in Smithfield. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site, while providing operational support across business systems, scheduling, service, and day-to-day manufacturing activities.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing or operational environment who enjoys problem-solving, supporting teams, and driving process improvements.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with coordinating continuous improvement initiatives and documenting improved processes and procedures.

• Work closely with site leaders and teams to identify inefficiencies and support practical operational improvements.

• Maintain data accuracy and support operational reporting and KPI tracking.

• Act as a key point of contact for operational issues, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

• Support Oracle and business systems by assisting users, troubleshooting issues, and escalating where required.

• Provide day-to-day operational support across manufacturing, scheduling, service, and administration functions.

• Coordinate and maintain operational documentation, records, and administrative requirements.

• Provide back-up support to Scheduling and Service teams during leave periods, peak workloads, and operational disruptions.

• Support safety processes through the coordination of documentation, actions, and compliance activities.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years’ experience in an Operations Support or similar role

• Exposure to manufacturing, construction, glazing, or operational environments

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Experience supporting ERP or business systems, preferably Oracle

• Knowledge of site safety processes, compliance documentation, or safety administration

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

• A positive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach
