Goulburn Powder coating is looking for an experienced Leading Hand Powder Coater to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for coordinating the daily workflow, leading the team, and ensuring production targets are met—all while working alongside your team on the floor.

About the Role

As our Leading Hand, you will:

• Lead, mentor and motivate the powder coating team.

• Assist in planning and schedule daily production to meet customer deadlines.

• Work hands-on with the team across all aspects of the powder coating process.

• Ensure products meet our quality standards before dispatch.

• Coordinate workflow with other departments to maximise productivity.

• Promote and maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace.

• Train and support new and existing team members.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production processes.

• Communicate daily production progress and priorities with management.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Extensive powder coating experience (essential).

• Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

• Experience scheduling work and managing production priorities.

• A proactive attitude and willingness to work alongside the team.

• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

• Current forklift licence (Or willing to obtain).

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
