About the business
Toni's Continental Butcher & Smallgoods is a local retail butcher and smallgoods producer. We supply fresh meat and traditional European Smallgoods in Toowoomba and South East Queensland.
About the role
We are looking for a Butcher or knife hand, with solid retail experience.
Key responsibilities include: Coordination and prepping retail showcase, prepping orders, customer relations, boning of pork, beef, lamb, sows.
Smallgoods/sausage experience is not required.
Skills and experience
Previous experience in a butcher shop is preferred.
Qualification in meat processing not required, as long as you have the skills.
Retail meat presentation & breakdown of carcasses.
Be a team player with good communication skills.
Must enjoy interacting with customers, and fellow staff
Be well presented and have an excellent customer service focus.
A desire to maintain high standards
Must be able to assist in the coordination of boning, orders and maintaining the retail area.
Experience in Value Added product is preferred.
Ability to work Saturdays
Honest and reliable
Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
