About the role
Aury Australia is a global equipment supplier to the mineral processing industry. Aury Australia specialises in and supplies a complete range of high-quality vibrating screens, Centrifuges & Consumable products for the coal and mineral processing industries.
Due to experiencing significant growth, the Aury Australia service department is seeking an energetic and team orientated Mechanical Service Technician. The role will report to the Service Supervisor with a main responsibilities of onsite servicing, maintenance and servicing customers within in our QLD operations.
This varied role will see you work a Family Friendly Roster.
The role will require travel within Queensland servicing and maintaining Vibrating screens, Centrifuges & Consumable products.
You will be offered an attractive remuneration package in line with your experience and skills including;

Site Allowance ($7.50 per hour)
Position Requirements
Ensure sufficient task analysis is completed to carry work out safely.
Provide service and customer support during field visits.
Review drawings and specifications to determine suitable parts are fit for purpose.
Fitting fabricated parts into machines and equipment.
Quality assurance inspections including checking machined tolerances and clearances using precision measuring instruments.
Forming metal stock and castings to fine tolerances using machining tools to press, cut, grind, plane, bore and drill metal.
Fault finding and performing maintenance on machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts on vibrating equipment
Assemble and installation of vibrating equipment on site.
Manage all on site installation, repairs, maintenance, and test tasks.
Diagnose issues or technical problems and determine solutions.
Produce timely and detailed service reports.
Document processes.
Operate vehicles in a safe manner.
Follow all company's filed procedures and protocols.
Cooperate with Sales & Technical teams and share information across the organisation.
Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Essential Skills and experience
Mechanical Trade qualification with Certificate of Proficiency
Hold a current Australian C Class drivers license
Good understanding of Work Place Health and Safety Legislation and Coal Mining Act
Computer Literacy: Skilled in use of Microsoft suite of products (Office, Outlook etc.)
Desirable skills and experience (but not essential)
High risk work license - Dogging, Rigging & Forklift
Working at Heights Certificate
Confined Space Certificate
QLD Coal Board Medical
Standard 11 Induction
Previous experience in Coal Processing Plant
Vibrating Screen and Centrifuge operation & Maintenance would be an advantage.
