The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant to join our busy Business Services and Management Accounting team to ensure the professional, timely and accurate completion of financial reports and tax compliance for a diverse range of clients across multiple industries.

This role will provide a unique opportunity blending Business and Tax Advisory with management accounting and international tax across a diverse array of Australian and international businesses.

You will work closely with our Partners and Managers, receiving plenty of mentoring and learning opportunities as well as providing guidance to our junior accountants.

Your Experience And Attributes

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Bachelor of Commerce or Business with a major in accounting. Ideally, you’ll have at least 12 months of experience in a chartered accounting firm, preferably within a Business Services environment. You will have completed or be working towards your CA qualification and enjoy the advisory aspect of your role.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a passion for building relationships with clients and colleagues is essential.

We are looking for a motivated professional with a strong work ethic who enjoys client interaction and thrives as part of a close-knit team.

Experience with MS Office applications, along with a working knowledge of APS, and Xero will be considered favourably.
