Gym Club Manager – Plus Fitness Mt Druitt & Minchinbury

Plus Fitness Mt Druitt and Plus Fitness Minchinbury are locally owned 24-hour gyms committed to helping our members improve their health, fitness and wellbeing.

We’re now looking for an energetic and motivated Club Manager to oversee both locations.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who loves people, is confident in sales and customer service, and enjoys taking ownership of results. You’ll be actively involved in generating memberships, following up leads, conducting club tours, supporting our team and creating an exceptional experience for members across both clubs.

Fitness industry experience is valued, but it isn’t essential. We’re most interested in finding someone with the right attitude, strong communication, sales and leadership skills, a willingness to learn and the drive to succeed.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position working 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across Plus Fitness Mt Druitt and Minchinbury.

As Club Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operations, sales performance, team standards and member experience at both locations.

You’ll lead from the front—building relationships with members, driving new membership sales, following up opportunities and ensuring both clubs consistently operate to a high standard.

As this is a dual-location role, you must be comfortable dividing your time between Mt Druitt and Minchinbury according to the needs of each club.

Your Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of both clubs.
• Ensuring both locations are clean, tidy, welcoming and presented to a consistently high standard.
• Welcoming members and visitors with a friendly, positive and professional attitude.
• Building strong relationships with members and creating an outstanding member experience.
• Conducting club tours and confidently explaining membership options.
• Generating and converting new membership sales.
• Following up leads and enquiries by phone, email, social media and other channels.
• Maintaining an active sales pipeline and consistently following up prospective members.
• Working towards and achieving monthly sales, membership and other performance targets.
• Monitoring club performance and taking responsibility for achieving agreed KPIs.
• Supporting member retention and engagement across both locations.
• Identifying opportunities to grow membership and improve retention.
• Managing member enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and effectively.
• Supporting, motivating and holding team members accountable to club standards and KPIs.
• Coordinating staff coverage and helping ensure both clubs operate smoothly.
• Assisting with local marketing campaigns, promotions and social media content.
• Ensuring club systems, policies, processes and procedures are followed.
• Completing administration and reporting accurately and on time.
• Taking initiative and continually looking for ways to improve both clubs.
• Moving confidently between sales, leadership, customer service, administration, operations and front-desk duties as required.

Previous experience in sales, customer service, leadership or management is preferred. Fitness industry experience is an advantage but is not essential.

As regular travel between both clubs is required, applicants must have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
