Cosmax is assisting David Jones in recruiting for this permanent part-time position with David Jones, working 24 hours per week across all store trading hours at David Jones in Bourke Street, Melbourne.

About the role

Clé de Peau Beauté is thrilled to offer an exclusive opportunity for a permanent part-time Beauty Therapist to join their stunning counter located in the heart of Melbourne, at David Jones Bourke Street.

As a Beauty Therapist, you will be instrumental in building the Treatment Services business, enhancing client development, and consistently exceeding performance targets in both treatments and prescription sales. Your role will involve delivering exceptional beauty treatments, providing personalized product recommendations, and contributing to an outstanding customer experience.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Conduct personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
• Discuss skin conditions, concerns, and goals to tailor services effectively.
• Perform a variety of beauty treatments, such as facials, massages, and other skincare procedures.
• Recommend and sell skincare products and cosmetics that align with the client’s needs and preferences.
• Educate clients about the benefits and proper use of products.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience and foster long-term relationships.
• Uphold the brand’s standards for presentation, including counter and treatment area cleanliness and ensuring that all merchandise and displays are properly maintained and aligned with the brand’s guidelines.
• Achieve individual and counter sales targets through effective product recommendations and upselling techniques.
• Handle appointment scheduling, client records, and any necessary administrative tasks.
• Participate in store facial events, product launches, and promotional activities to drive sales and engage with customers.

You must be a passionate individual who is enthusiastic about the Clé de Peau Beauté brand and its luxurious products. You will possess a strong focus on customer service, excellent communication skills, and a friendly, professional demeanour.

You are motivated, eager to engage with customers, committed to creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment, and will contribute to delivering the highest level of service and luxury to your clientele.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• Minimum of Cert IV in Beauty Therapy or equivalent experience.
• Strong sales experience in a retail environment is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, and a second language will be an advantage.
• A high standard of attention to detail and present strong initiative in assigned tasks.
• A positive work attitude, self-motivated and a team player.
• Willing to work retail hours on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
