Casual Housekeeper

About the role

Moama Riverside Holiday Park is seeking a Casual Housekeeper to join our team. As a Casual Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our cabins and ensuite sites.

The working hours include weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.

You will be paid an hourly rate of $32.31 plus Super for hours worked during the week, plus additional penalty rates for hours worked on weekends and public holidays, as per the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020.

What you'll be doing

• Cleaning and servicing of tourist cabins, which includes vacuuming & washing floors, making beds & changing linen, dusting, cleaning kitchens & bathrooms, and cleaning windows

• Cleaning of ensuites in powered sites

• Maintaining the park's laundry, linen stocks, and cleaning supplies/equipment.

• Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the Park Manager

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role, preferably in a caravan park, hotel or hospitality environment

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

• Good communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude

• Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team

• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift

• Have a driver's licence to be able to drive our housekeeping cart

• Understanding of Work Health & Safety responsibilities

Employment requirement

You must have a valid Working with Children Check for paid work. If you don't have this, you can still apply and request it once you become successful in the position.
