Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking an organised Property Manager to join our team.

The role involves managing residential properties within the local area, working with a supportive and experienced team backed by the strength of the LJ Hooker network.

About the Role

As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a residential portfolio, ensuring both landlords and tenants receive a high level of service.

Key responsibilities include:

·        Managing a residential property portfolio

·        Coordinating entry, routine and exit inspections

·        Preparing tenancy agreements, bond lodgements and related documentation

·        Screening and assisting with tenant selection

·        Managing rental arrears and tenancy matters

·        Preparing submissions for tenancy tribunal hearings when required

·        Liaising with landlords and tenants regarding property matters

·        Coordinating property maintenance and repairs with trades

·        Arranging advertising and marketing for rental properties

·        Conducting rental market appraisals and recommending rent reviews

·        Assisting with business development and growth of the rent roll

·        Ensuring compliance with relevant real estate legislation and industry standards

About You

We are looking for someone who is professional, organised and client-focused, with the ability to manage a portfolio while building strong relationships with landlords and tenants.

Essential Requirements

·        Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration (QLD)

·        Current driver licence

·        Strong administration and organisational skills

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Ability to manage a property portfolio and work within a team

·        Experience resolving tenancy matters and tribunal processes

·        Experience using property management software

·        Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Desirable

·        Understanding of local and national real estate markets

·        Knowledge of effective real estate marketing strategies

·        Relevant industry training or ongoing professional development
