Freight Officer/Truck Cleaner

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Freight Officer / Truck Cleaner to join our team at Perth Airport.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles clean and well presented, while also being comfortable with basic administration, stock control and documentation.

About the Role

Working across two depot locations, you will be responsible for keeping our Centurion trucks and their cabins clean, organised and ready for operation, as well as assisting with administration and stock control.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the inside of Centurion trucks and truck cabins
• Sweep and blow out truck interiors and cargo areas
• Empty bins and remove rubbish
• Ensure trucks are kept clean, tidy and presentable
• Complete regular stock takes and monitor stock levels
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork
• Keep track of relevant documents and ensure they are completed correctly
• Assist with general freight and depot duties as required
• Work between two depot locations – located close to each other
• Follow workplace health, safety and cleanliness procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
• Takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail
• Is comfortable with physical, hands-on work
• Has good administration and organisational skills
• Can confidently keep track of paperwork, documents and records
• Is comfortable using basic computer systems
• Can work independently and manage their time effectively
• Is flexible and happy to work between two depot locations
• Has a positive attitude and is willing to help wherever needed
• Previous experience in freight, transport, warehousing, cleaning or a similar environment will be highly regarded, but the right attitude and reliability are just as important.
