Freight Officer/Truck Cleaner

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the inside of Centurion trucks and truck cabins
• Sweep and blow out truck interiors and cargo areas
• Empty bins and remove rubbish
• Ensure trucks are kept clean, tidy and presentable
• Complete regular stock takes and monitor stock levels
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork
• Keep track of relevant documents and ensure they are completed correctly
• Assist with general freight and depot duties as required
• Work between two depot locations – located close to each other
• Follow workplace health, safety and cleanliness procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic

Takes pride in their work and has a good eye for detail

Is comfortable with physical, hands-on work

Has good administration and organisational skills

Can confidently keep track of paperwork, documents and records

Is comfortable using basic computer systems

Can work independently and manage their time effectively

Is flexible and happy to work between two depot locations

Has a positive attitude and is willing to help wherever needed

Previous experience in freight, transport, warehousing, cleaning or a similar environment will be highly regarded, but the right attitude and reliability are just as important.
