Casual Bar-FoH staff, 30hrs/week

AW Hospitality operates two venues in Woolloongabba and we’re currently recruiting for a bartender to join our front-of-house teams, working approximately 25-30hrs per week.

About the role

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a small team in a busy, buzzy venue. Your main priority will be to ensure that the bar service is friendly, fast and efficient. There might also be times where you’ll be asked to help with service on the floor to keep things running well, so being prepared to pitch in when you’re asked is part of the job too.

We aren’t a late-night venue and there are no late finishes, but this is a role where evening and weekend availability is a must.

This is a casual role where we can offer around 30hrs per week. However there is the possibility for this to evolve into a full-time role with more opportunities and responsibilities for the right person.

The person we’re looking for will need:

- a minimum of 1year experience in a similar role and be able to show us some basic cocktail skills

- a service- and guest-first approach, and to enjoy being in service on the bar (and occasionally the floor)

- a valid RSA (Qld.)

- and to be reliable and ready to go when it’s time to work
