Speech Therapist

We are pleased to announce an opportunity at Flourish Holistic Services for a Speech Therapist. Flourish Holistic Services is a leading provider of Allied Health Services for individuals enrolled in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and referred to us by various reputable organizations including the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Transport Accident Commission (TAC), WorkSafe, and Workcover.

Position: Speech Therapist (Contract)

Salary: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour (Depending on experience)

Location: Tarneit, Victoria

Business Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 6.30pm

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality clinical services and Healthy Living Programs for individuals and groups in clinic, Mobile services and Telehealth.
• Work within the NDIS framework to maximize clients’ function, capacity, and social engagement.
• Assist clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications.
• Timely documentation & report writing.
• Manage a varied caseload.
• Attend meetings, supervision & personal development as required.
• Supervise a range of Healthy Living Programs for all age groups.
• Collaborate with a range of health professionals within FHS.

Requirements:

• Registration with SPA as a Speech Pathologist.
• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Driver's license and access to own vehicle.
• Passion for working with individuals with a disability.
• Paediatric experience and/or mental health experience desirable.
• Experience in a community services setting also desired.
• Willingness to provide services within the community, including in-home.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Innovative mindset to contribute ideas to the team.
