About the Role:

The Manager at HLB Mann Judd is a pivotal role designed to deliver high-quality services to our clients while fostering an environment of teamwork and professional growth. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively contribute to the operational success of the firm.

Key responsibilities include:

• Management of client portfolios, ensuring that all client needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Coordinating with various teams to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration on projects.
• Supervising junior staff members, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and performance.
• Participating in the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and other deliverables for accuracy and compliance.
• Contributing to business development initiatives by identifying potential opportunities for new services or improvements.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
• Engaging with clients directly to build relationships and address any concerns or inquiries they may have.

This role is essential for ensuring that HLB Mann Judd continues to provide exceptional service while supporting the development of its employees. The Manager will play a critical part in shaping the firm's future successes through effective leadership and commitment to excellence.

• A Commerce or Business degree qualification, with an Accounting major.
• CA or CPA qualified.
• An experienced Manager, preferably from a public practice background.
• Experience working on all entities and structures, including individuals, trusts, companies and superannuation funds.
• Experience in all state and federal taxes including but not limited to FBT, Income Tax, CGT, GST, Payroll Tax and Land Tax.
• Must possess experience reviewing / managing a team of junior staff and supporting workflows.
• Experience managing a client fee base.
• Exposure working with budgets and monitoring production and write-offs.
• Experience maintaining quality control on assignments and projects.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
• The ability to prioritise tasks and deliver work to a high standard.
• Eligible Australian work rights.
