No two days are the same. You'll work on busy construction sites, regional projects and remote locations, gaining valuable skills in a physically demanding but rewarding industry.

About the Role

As a Driller's Offsider, you'll work alongside experienced Drill Rig Operators on a range of geotechnical, environmental and mineral exploration projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with geotechnical, environmental and exploration drilling using mud rotary, air drilling, wireline and conventional diamond coring techniques.

• Conducting in-situ testing, including Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) and push tube sampling.

• Assisting with groundwater monitoring well and inclinometer installations.

• Carrying out daily pre-start inspections and general maintenance of drilling equipment.

• Completing company safety, operational and project documentation.

• Maintaining a safe, organised and productive work environment.

Essential Requirements

• Construction White Card.

• Current manual driver's licence.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.

Desirable (but not essential)

• MR or HR driver's licence.

• Previous experience in drilling, construction, civil works or general labouring.
