Project and Office Assistant - Shopfitting

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project and Office Assistant to join a busy and established business within the high-end shopfitting and commercial interiors sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administrator who enjoys being the person behind the scenes keeping projects, paperwork, and the team on track.

You will be working closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and the Office Manager providing essential administrative and project support.

If you have strong administration skills, excellent communication, and the ability to hit the ground running, this is the role for you!

About the Role:

Supporting a team of Project Managers, Estimators and the wider office, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Project Managers with paperwork, schedules, reports, and general project administration tasks
• Setting up and maintaining OH&S documentation and assisting with implementation
• Coordinating with exisitng clients providing updates on project timelines
• Following up on information and documentation with suppliers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
• Assisting with ordering materials for upcoming projects
• Downloading and organising plans and documentation for Project Managers and Estimators
• Assisting the wider business with additional administrative tasks as required

About You:

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident communicating with a range of people.

• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• A proactive approach and willingness to get involved
• Previous OH&S experience would be highly regarded
• Building, construction, shopfitting, or joinery knowledge would be advantageous, but is not essential

Most importantly, you'll be someone who can hit the ground running, identify what needs to be done, and take ownership of your responsibilities.
