About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our team, covering Queensland and Northern NSW. In this role, you will manage and grow partnerships for Temperzone and Hitachi, acting as a trusted brand ambassador. You’ll develop strong relationships with key dealers, trade partners, and commercial specialists while driving sales growth through strategic planning and execution. This position requires a proven track record in HVAC sales and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
• Promote Temperzone and Hitachi products with confidence and professionalism.
• Plan and manage regular customer visits to strengthen partnerships.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and great customer experiences.
• Support marketing and promotional activities, including events and training sessions.
• Provide insights on market trends and opportunities to help shape our strategies.
• Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and customer service.

What you will bring to the role

• Proven sales history in the HVAC industry with at least 3 years’ experience working with established brands or projects.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration or electrical engineering with HVAC background (certifications such as ASHRAE are a plus).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical schedules, electrical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience in VRF selection and design is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and quoting processes.
• Highly organised, goal-driven, and able to work independently while contributing to team success.
