We are a Melbourne-based hospitality collective that owns and operates; Arbory Bar & Eatery, an all-day eatery and bar on a disused Flinders Street Station platform next to the Yarra River (Birrarung); Afloat, a summer-loving temporary floating restaurant and bar on the Yarra River (Birrarung); Straight Up Cocktails, our ready to serve premium batched cocktail arm and HER, an entire building dedicated to dining, drinking, art and music in the heart of the CBD.

With a focus on wine, cocktails, and seasonal share plates HER Bar serves Euro leaning food all day every day. 

Seeking a Chef de Partie to join us and establish themselves with a solid, professional and creative team.

About the role

• Hands on role, delivering a consistent and outstanding dining experience

• You will be adept at running a busy section

• You will be creative and contribute to an everchanging seasonal menu

• You will guide and support the junior chefs

• You will have a sound understanding of workplace health and safety standards

 What we are looking for

• A passionate chef, who is motivated, engaged and eager to keep learning

• Experience in managing food and labour costs

• Creative individual who champions seasonality and simplicity

• Resilience to perform in a high performing busy kitchen

• Team player, who thrives in a collaborative and communicative workplace

• Availability to work on weekends and public holidays
