Role Description This is a Casual hybrid Sales Representative role based in West Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some work from home. The Sales Representative will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage existing customer accounts, and maintain strong client relationships. Daily activities include visiting customers, responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, and presenting suitable chemical product solutions. The role involves collaborating with internal teams to coordinate orders, ensure accurate documentation, and support timely delivery. The Sales Representative will also monitor market trends, provide feedback to leadership, and meet sales targets while adhering to safety and compliance standards.
Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in sales or account management, preferably in chemicals, manufacturing, or related industrial sectorsStrong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse customersComfort with hybrid work arrangements, including in-person client visits around Melbourne and remote follow-up activitiesBasic understanding of chemical products or willingness to learn technical product information and industry regulationsSolid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, proposals, and deadlinesProficiency with CRM software and standard office productivity toolsValid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as neededRelevant post-secondary education in business, science, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory
