Design and Technology Teacher - Full Time (1.0 FTE), Permanent Teaching Position - Commencing 2027 Academic Year

 Key Selection Criteria: Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualifications and experience teaching Design and Technology, up to and including SACE Stage 2.

• Proven ability to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences that inspire creativity, design thinking, critical thinking and problem-solving.

• Experience teaching across one or more Design and Technology Studies areas.

• High-level IT skills and demonstrated success in integrating technology to enhance teaching and learning.

• Ability to differentiate learning and support the diverse needs of students in an inclusive and positive learning environment.

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.

As a Teacher at Immanuel, you'll be responsible for the development and delivery of quality learning and teaching, providing an education where the whole person can grow and develop.  This includes contribution to Pastoral Care and Co-curricular programs of the School.

You'll have commitment and enthusiasm for the teaching of young people in a way that is meaningful and engaging and work collaboratively with teaching and professional staff across the College to ensure delivery of high-quality educational outcomes for our students. Our staff promote and support a positive organisational culture by maintaining effective working relationships and communicating effectively with students, parents, colleagues and visitors.
