About the RoleWe're searching for a dedicated Estimator to join our team. As an essential player in our project planning process, you'll be responsible for accurately quoting joinery and complete fitout projects, with a focus on commercial and hospitality spaces. Working independently with the trust and support of our experienced team, you'll be empowered to bring your expertise to the table, providing estimates that reflect both quality and attention to detail.Please note that Australian work rights are required for this position.Key Responsibilities:Detailed Estimating & Quoting: Prepare precise and comprehensive quotes for joinery and fitout projects, ensuring every element from materials to labour is accounted for, along with analysing and checking sub trade quotes for accuracy.Project Assessment: Utilize your industry insight, especially in shopfitting and hospitality, to create well-rounded quotes that meet client needs.Independent Project Management: Take ownership of each project quote, managing your workload with minimal supervision.Meeting Deadlines: Effectively prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of estimates, supporting the overall project timelines.Problem-Solving: Approach each project with an open mind, thinking creatively to add value and enhance outcomes.
About YouThe ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical skill and proactive work habits to the role. Here's what we're looking for:Joinery Quoting Experience: Prefered experience in accurately quoting joinery work.Minimum Experience Level: 1-2 years of fitout quoting experience is required.Background in Shopfitting & Hospitality Fitouts: Prior experience in commercial and hospitality fitouts is highly preferred.Attention to Detail: A meticulous eye for details, ensuring every quote is precise.Autonomous and Accountable: Confident in managing your workload with limited supervision.Creative & Solution-Oriented: Someone who thinks outside the box and finds ways to deliver exceptional results within budget.Team-Oriented: Thrives in a collaborative environment and contributes positively to our team culture.
