Mortgage Broker | Credit by Equitifund

About the role

As a Mortgage Broker with Credit by Equitifund (EquitiCredit Pty Ltd), you'll manage clients throughout the lending journey while actively building and maintaining a strong pipeline of business. You'll work with inbound opportunities generated through Equitifund's marketing activity, referral network and existing client database, while also proactively developing new business and professional referral relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Managing mortgage enquiries from initial consultation through to application, approval and settlement.

• Understanding clients' financial circumstances, objectives and borrowing requirements.

• Researching and presenting appropriate lending options from the available lender panel.

• Maintaining strong relationships with clients throughout the lending process.

• Following up existing Equitifund clients and enquiries to identify finance opportunities.

• Proactively building your own pipeline and referral network.

• Developing relationships with property professionals and other referral partners.

• Maintaining accurate CRM records, compliance documentation and client file notes.

• Working collaboratively with teams across Equitifund Group to identify appropriate opportunities for clients.

• Delivering against individual activity, settlement and revenue targets.

About you

• Experience in mortgage broking, lending, banking or residential finance.

• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or higher.

• Eligibility to be appointed as a Credit Representative under an Australian Credit Licence.

• Strong understanding of the residential lending process.

• Confidence communicating with clients and building trusted relationships.

• A proactive approach to business development and generating new opportunities.

• Strong organisation, follow-up and pipeline management.

• High standards of professionalism, accuracy and compliance.
