Medical Receptionist

About the Position

Plaza Family Health located in Mt Sheridan, Cairns, is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our incredible team on a Casual basis.

The clinic is conveniently located in the Mt Sheridan Plaza Shopping Centre, and is home to 5 professional GPs, supported by an experienced team of Nurses. You will also have the benefit of working under the Better Medical umbrella of +60 GP practices across Australia.

Our clinic is open 8:30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, meaning no late nights or weekends!

In this role you will:

• Deliver exceptional patient service at all times

• Participate in practice meetings and contribute ideas for improvement 

• Efficiently manage patient data, appointments and follow procedures

• Provide a seamless service to patients whilst ensuring clinic operations, and Doctor workload is effectively managed at all times

• Process patients billings/receipts

• Assist Doctors with day to day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks

• Function in a highly organised and time-efficient manner at all times

• Attend housekeeping in the Clinic and prepare morning/afternoon teas for our Doctors
