About the role
The Opportunity
An opportunity has become available for a Graduate Lawyer to join a specialist legal practice working across debt recovery, secured lending and enforcement matters.
This is an excellent entry point for a graduate looking to build strong practical legal skills and gain hands-on exposure to disputes and recovery work from the beginning of their career.
Working alongside experienced lawyers, you will assist with a broad range of recovery matters while developing your skills in drafting, court processes, file management and client communication.
The Role
You will gain exposure to matters across the debt recovery and enforcement lifecycle, including:
You will receive guidance and supervision from experienced practitioners while progressively building the confidence to manage files and communicate directly with clients.
About You
We are looking for a law graduate or recently admitted lawyer who is keen to develop a career in debt recovery, litigation and enforcement.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience as a paralegal, law clerk or legal assistant within litigation, debt recovery, banking or insolvency would be advantageous but is not essential.
Why This Role?
This is an opportunity to gain practical legal experience in a specialist area where you will be involved in real matters rather than sitting on the sidelines.
You will develop a strong grounding in litigation procedure, drafting, commercial problem-solving and client management, with increasing responsibility as your capability develops.
For a graduate looking for a role that offers hands-on experience, genuine learning opportunities and a clear pathway to develop as a lawyer, this is an excellent place to begin your legal career.
For a confidential discussion, please reach out to Ben via ***************@jlegal.com.au.
