Visit Sunshine Coast (VSC) is the official Regional Tourism Organisation for the Sunshine Coast. We're a small (but mighty) team working with close to 500 tourism industry members across a tight-knit network that call ourselves #TeamSunshineCoast.

We're looking for a Membership Co-ordinator who is equal parts relationship-builder, organiser and get-it-done person.

If you enjoy talking to people, solving problems, keeping things organised and helping businesses make the most of opportunities, this could be your kind of role.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Industry & Trade Development, you'll be the go-to-contact for VSC's tourism members and work closely with our team to help deliver our membership and trade programs.

No two days will ever be the same. One day you might welcome a new member or solve a service issue; the next you could coordinate member communications, gather industry insights, support an event or help a tourism operator build its trade capability.

VSC is a destination marketing and management organisation and the official Regional Tourism Organisation for the Sunshine Coast.

Our region spans the Sunshine Coast, Noosa and Gympie Local Government Areas, and we work with tourism operators, industry partners and government to market the destination, support tourism development and grow the value of the visitor economy.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating VSC's annual membership program.

• Building strong relationships with existing and prospective members.

• Helping members access VSC programs, services and opportunities.

• Providing friendly, responsive member support.

• Managing our membership database and member communications.

• Supporting membership growth, engagement and retention.

• Gathering member and industry insights.

• Supporting Trade & International programs.

• Pitching in across the VSC team when needed.

About you

You're an approachable, confident communicator who enjoys building relationships and helping businesses succeed. You’re proactive, organised and responsive, with a strong customer service mindset and excellent follow-through.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• 3+ years' experience in customer service, member engagement, administration or another stakeholder-facing role.

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

• Tourism, hospitality, marketing or membership organisation experience - highly regarded.

• Experience with CRM, membership or database systems - desirable.

• A current open driver licence - highly desirable.

• Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
