WHS Consultants / WHS Coordinators

Safety Solutions WA is a Western Australian based WHS consultancy with clients across a wide range of industry sectors and locations in both Perth metro and regional WA.

Our primary goal is to make workplaces safer and be the employer of choice for WHS Consultants.

Due to our continual and planned growth, we are currently looking for a number of experienced WHS Consultants to join our team - with an immediate start available.

This role is primarily Perth metro based (this is not a FIFO role).

You will be responsible for providing a range of services to our clients including:

• Development and ongoing support, implementation and monitoring of WHS management systems

• Workplace compliance inspections and ISO level audits

• WHS documentary development and reviews

• General workplace based WHS coaching, guidance and monitoring

• Being our clients' point of call for WHS assistance.

This position would be ideal for someone looking for lots of variety, able to collaborate and give guidance, and who doesn't want to be permanently situated at the same workplace.  Our clients' workplaces and their industries, have needs that vary considerably, making this ideal for someone who can think on their feet and enjoys constant change.

ESSENTIAL criteria to being considered for this role:

• Permanent Australian working rights (not negotiable)

• A variety of safety experience across multiple industries. We are seeking someone that can hit the ground running

• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills

• A thorough understanding of (and a practicable approach to) WHS legislation

• Diploma WHS (consideration may be given to Cert IV with adequate and varied experience) 

• A good sense of humour

DESIRABLE criteria that will be looked at favourably:

• An understanding / practice of OFSC requirements will be highly regarded

• ISO:45001 Lead Auditor (preferable Integrated Auditor - WHS / QA / ENV)

• ICAM / Taproot / other Investigative qualifications and experience
