About The Clinical Genetics Service
The Clinical Genetics Service provides genetic counselling, genetic and genomic testing to individuals with, or at risk of, genetic conditions who are referred to The Women’s and the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s (Joan Kirner) Hospitals. This includes individuals in the northwest and western regions of Victoria.
About the role
The position provides genetic counselling to patients of the Clinical Genetics Service primarily at the Parkville site, with flexibility to provide cover to the Joan Kirner site as needed. The role contributes to the overall performance of the Clinical Genetics Service’s team and the quality and safety of care to those referred to the service.

About you
You will be an experienced Genetic Counsellor with at least 5 years experience in a clinical genetics service. Previous experience in the reproductive genetics area is preferred but not essential.
