About the Role 

To support the operational activities at the Aramex Townsville depot by performing key tasks such as forklift operations (loading, unloading, and cage movement), monitoring linehaul for safety, coordinating parcel sorting and scanning, and maintaining a clean and organized depot.

Key responsibilities include:

• Sort and process freight accurately and efficiently

• Scan freight using handheld scanning devices

• Dispatch freight using computer-based freight management systems

• Conduct freight tracking and scanning activities to ensure accurate records

• Provide operational support by covering courier runs as required

• Safely unload freight cages from trucks using a forklift

• Assist with general depot operations and housekeeping duties

• Work independently and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment

• Learn and adapt to new processes and responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service
