Metro Advance Apartments & Hotel Darwin is now looking for an experienced Hotel Receptionist
  
The applicant will be responsible for:

• Greet guests professionally and provide a welcoming first impression upon arrival and departure.
• Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel's property management system.
• Handle reservations, room allocations, amendments, cancellations, and booking enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Process guest payments, deposits, refunds, and maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, and service issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, transport options, dining venues, and tourism activities in Darwin.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure rooms are prepared and guest needs are met.
• Monitor room availability, occupancy levels, and update guest records accurately in the reservation system.
• Perform administrative tasks including preparing reports, maintaining reception records, handling correspondence, and filing documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, workplace health and safety procedures, security protocols, and privacy requirements while maintaining a professional reception area.

About you:

• At least 1 year of experience as an Hotel Receptionist:
• Excellent customer service and guest relations skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in hotel reservation systems and general computer applications.
• Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 p.y.
